The Co-operative Development Initiative (CDI) is a Government of Canada program delivered in a partnership of the Canadian Co-operative Association (CCA), Conseil canadien de la coopération et de la mutualité (CCCM), and the Rural and  Co-operatives Secretariat of the Government of Canada. 

The program has three components: Advisory Services, Innovative Co-operative Projects, and Research and Knowledge Development.
